Please make sure you have about an hour set aside to really sink into the experience. Be comfortable, but not so comfortable that you fall asleep. (And, if you do fall asleep, don’t feel bad – you probably needed it!)

Have a pen and paper nearby when you listen. When you’re done with the meditation, take some notes about your experience.

  • What do you notice?
  • What have you learned?
  • What feels different?
  • Does this new part of your psyche have a name?
  • Try to stay in touch with your body as you journal, let the writing come from a body experience, rather than your mind as much as possible.
